Writer and translator-researcher. My work is focused on the philosophy of pessimism, the tragic, and antinatalist thought.
Born on July 7, 1998, in Omsk, with Estonian roots.
In February 2026, I completed my higher education in Economics, graduating with a bachelor's degree from Moscow International University. I popularize philosophical pessimism in Russia. In 2024-2025, I carried out a large-scale project of compiling and translating into Russian an extensive body of work by the Norwegian philosopher Peter Wessel Zapffe, publishing it in print in Russian for the first time.
In January 2025, my first original work,
The Experience of the Tragic, was published, marking the beginning of the dilogy
The Tragic. It was followed by the second volume,
Processual Pessimism: On the Nature of Cosmic Suffering and Human Nothingness, which was released in English in January 2026 and in Russian in March 2026.
Future projects include the translation and publication of Philipp Mainländer, Ulrich Horstmann, and Herman Tønnessen.
A separate, "
unrealizable" intellectual aspiration is the publication in Russian of works by contemporary authors such as Sarah Perry, David Benatar, and Julio Cabrera.
